Yesterday, WWE.com published a gallery of female Superstars as the company celebrated Women's History Month.

A rather shocking omission from the collection of stars in the gallery was former four-time Women's Champion Michelle McCool.

Understandably peeved by the snub, McCool tweeted: "That’d just be silly, huh? Did nothing…I’m just #undertakerswife."

Later on she added: "Real talk-when you’ve put up w/ more in past than anyone would believe (simply b/c I’m the @undertaker wife) have rarely been mentioned for making ANY contribution to the “women’s revolution”- but WOW – not even top 45!"

WWE.com then updated the gallery, adding a few more greats from the past - crucially, McCool made the cut at the second time of asking.

Despite the amendment, The Undertaker felt the need to stick up for his wife, tweeting: “Too little too late...unbelievable!!”

McCool wrestled for WWE between 2004-2011, and also made big returns during the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble and first-ever all women’s WWE event – Evolution.

‘Taker, of course, is gearing up for a heavily anticipated match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in April.
