From 2002 until December 2013, AJ Styles was one of the top stars in TNA alongside the likes of Sting, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett. The Phenomenal One was the promotion's first Triple Crown Champion and he went on to become a five-time world champion and a six-time X Division Champion.
The former Mr. TNA's best friends Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson recently signed with his former promotion after their WWE releases, and The Good Brothers told Gary Cassidy at Sportskeeda they are trying to convince the former WWE Champion to join them in IMPACT Wrestling.
Machine Gun KA said: "Ultimately, we're going to talk AJ Styles into coming back to IMPACT. That's what we're doing every single day. We're texting him and telling him to come back."
Fans shouldn't expect Styles to join his friends in IMPACT, however, as The Face That Runs The Place revealed during an interview with Newsweek in 2019 that his latest WWE contract would be his last in professional wrestling.
AJ said: "I can tell you that this contract that I've signed is my last. This is the perfect place for me to be. It's family-oriented, I have no problem taking my family to the shows. It's a PG product, which I enjoy. I'm in the best place I can be for my career."
