Report: WWE WrestleMania 36 Title Match Changed
More Changes Ahead Of The Showcase Of The Immortals...
Mar 9, 2020
WrestleMania 36 is less than one month away as The Showcase Of The Immortals will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The card has undergone a number of changes in recent weeks, particularly on the SmackDown side. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt was originally scheduled to defend the Universal Championships against Roman Reigns, while John Cena was set to take on Elias. However, ahead of Super ShowDown, WWE changed their minds and now WrestleMania will be headlined by Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal title and The Fiend vs. Cena.
Another match that has been changed is the Women's Tag Team Championship bout. Reports indicated that The Kabuki Warriors were set to take on Beth Phoenix and Natalya on The Grandest Stage Of Them All, but Alex McCarthy at talkSPORT reported that former champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross had been added to the match.
This was hinted at on Twitter over the weekend as Bliss called out Asuka and Kairi Sane for not putting the titles on the line on a regular basis. She tweeted: "Me looking for the women’s tag team titles representation like...our women’s tag division has some some of the most talented women on the roster... where u at Kabuki warriors....?"
