He's set for a stint on the sidelines

The Miz is set for a stint on the sidelines following WrestleMania Backlash.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that The A-Lister suffered a torn ACL during his Lumberjack match with Damian Priest on Sunday. The severity of the injury is currently unknown, but WWE is hoping the former world champion suffered a partial tear. If he did sustain a full tear, though, Miz could be out of action for up to nine months following surgery.
The Miz's absence was addressed on last night's Monday Night Raw by John Morrison and Johnny Drip Drip dedicated his match on the show to The A-Lister's memory. The former SmackDown Tag Team Champions were both devoured by zombies at Backlash, but Morrison came away unscathed apart from feeling dead inside.
The torn ACL is The Miz's first major injury in WWE since he started working for the company all the way back in 2004.
The two-time WWE Champion has previously commented on his ability to avoid serious injuries and he told Sportskeeda last year: "Well, if you ask Daniel Bryan, I have safe way working, which I think is a compliment. But, I would say that I always make sure that I'm able to perform the next day. Honestly, sometimes, we overwork ourselves. We don't get enough sleep, we are working out five days a week and the workouts aren't your normal average everyday workouts.
"This isn't for kids. We are trained professionals in what we do and it's very dangerous what we do. So, I always make sure that I train but I don't train too hard to where I am overly exhausted and go into a WWE ring and can't perform my 100% and give it my best. I make sure that the things I do are things that have been done before and if it is not, honestly, I am very durable, I guess you could say."
