The coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc on WWE...

WrestleMania 36 is less than two weeks away and will be broadcast from multiple locations on April 4 and April 5. WWE is still making plans for The Showcase Of The Immortals, and last night they added two matches to the card in Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits vs. Andrade & Angel Garza for the Raw Tag Team Championships.
The tag team bout came completely out of the blue as many assumed El Idolo would be defending his United States Championship at Mania, particularly as the company had seemingly been building to a Fatal 4-Way match between Andrade, Garza, Humberto Carrillo, and Rey Mysterio.
While there has been no official confirmation from WWE, these plans were seemingly nixed because, according to Dave Meltzer, The Master Of The 619 has had to go into quarantine and will no longer be able to appear at The Show Of Shows.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said: "There were multiple different ideas for US title matches, but from last week, I think the main idea was probably going to be Andrade and Rey, and Rey is also in quarantine so he's off the show."
