Report: Meiko Satomura Joining WWE NXT UK

Meiko Satomura debuted in WWE back in 2018 in the second Mae Young Classic. She defeated the likes of Killer Kelly, Mercedes Martinez and Lacey Lane in the tournament, but she was ultimately beaten by eventual winner Toni Storm in the semi-finals. Satomura also worked at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as a guest trainer in 2019.

According to Tokyo Sports, the Japanese wrestling legend is set to return to WWE in early November and join NXT UK. She will be a WWE Superstar and a coach at the Performance Center in London, England. This follows an announcement earlier today where she said she would be part-time in Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling going forward.

Satomura is a 25-year veteran of the squared circle, first debuting in Gaea Japan when she was 15-years-old. She wrestled in the promotion until it folded in 2005 and went on to co-found Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling. She has been a regular feature in the promotion ever since and has also competed around the world for the likes of Stardom, Chikara, PROGRESS Wrestling, wXw and Pro Wrestling EVE.
