A celebrity could be set to return to WWE in the near future.

The Miz went one-on-one with Rey Mysterio on the Elimination Chamber Kickoff Show, but The A-Lister had to deal with repeated interference from Dominik Mysterio, including a punch from the 24-year-old while the official wasn't looking and a grapple with a steel chair.

Dominik was eventually ejected from ringside and The Miz tried to capitalise on a distracted Rey with a Skull Crushing Finale but the former World Heavyweight Champion countered into a pin for the victory.

Once the main card got underway, Miz complained about the interference from Dominik in a backstage interview before he announced he would find a partner who was a superlative athlete, had similar handsome features to himself and was a global superstar. Miz then left to make a call.

That storyline call was seemingly made to Logan Paul and PWInsider have reported the word backstage at Elimination Chamber was that the current plan for Miz's partner was the YouTube and exhibition boxing star. A Miz and Logan Paul vs. The Mysterios match could also potentially take place at WrestleMania 38.

If the match was saved for The Showcase Of The Immortals, it would be Paul's second WrestleMania, having been ringside for Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37. KO also gave the YouTube star a Stunner at that event.

Since WrestleMania, Paul has made multiple appearances on WWE TV, including on Raw and SmackDown in the summer of 2021.
