Report: Big Show's Return To WWE Raw Expected To Be Short
Experience Big Show in the ring while you still can...
Jan 15, 2020
On the January 6 episode of Monday Night Raw, Big Show returned to WWE as Kevin Owens' & Samoa Joe's mystery partner in their match against Seth Rollins & AOP. This was the first time The World's Largest Athlete had appeared on WWE TV in over a year, as he went on hiatus following the November 27, 2018, episode of SmackDown after his partnership with The Bar ended.
His return is expected to be short, however.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radiothat the former World Heavyweight champion only agreed to return as a favour to WWE so they could continue the current programme with Owens, Joe and Rollins while Rey Mysterio finished up his rivalry with Andrade. Once The Master Of The 619 concludes his feud next week, he is expected to be added to the ongoing battle against The Monday Night Messiah, and Show will disappear again soon after.
Meltzer said: "Rey Mysterio is going to end up in that crew and you've got Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens and Big Show's there for now. Big Show's not there for long term…He was brought in as a favour to get through this period because they were down a man. So, I don’t know how long he’s going to be staying. It was not meant to be a long term thing."
