One of the leading lights on the British independent wrestling scene will be making his debut for IMPACT very soon. ICW, DEFIANT and NGW regular Joe Hendry is heading across the pond, with IMPACT announcing via their official Twitter account that he is scheduled to appear as part of their June 1 and June 2 tapings in Windsor, Ontario.

It looks like fans over in Canada will be treated to a slice of the Local Hero, rather than his Prestigious One persona. Hendry tweeted out a small teaser clip of what is presumably his new IMPACT theme - a twist on his now famous entrance ditty with the lyrics switched up to say “…Thursdays on IMPACT Wres-tl-ing. Cos if you’d like some, come and collect some” etc. You all know how it goes by now.

It’s been quite a week for Joe so far - and that’s before we get onto the fact he’ll hosting a Q & A with us as part of his live show on Saturday in Newcastle. Tickets here! On Thursday, he appeared for Ring Of Honor at Honor United in a match against ROH World TV Champion Silas Young in Edinburgh. The literal Local Hero of the night received a passionate standing ovation following the bout, meaning it's got to be a must-see performance.

Oh, THERE'S MORE! Joe, who also recently represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, will be a part of the upcoming World of Sport revival on ITV with a 10 part series already recorded and set to hit the airwaves later this year.

Everyone here at Cultaholic wishes Joe all the success in the world, it's great to see so much hard work paying off!
