Humberto Carrillo & Angel Garza Return To Align With Santos Escobar

Last night’s Friday Night SmackDown saw a big development in the heel turn of Santos Escobar. After turning on Rey Mysterio and leaving his Latino World Order members in the dust, Escobar has found some new allies to help him going forwards.

Escobar took on Bobby Lashley in the semi finals of the United States Championship number one contender tournament, and even though the Street Profits at ringside gave Lashley a natural advantage, Escobar had something up his sleeve. Two masked men appeared from nowhere to attack Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, serving as enough of a distraction for Escobar to roll Lashley up for the pin and the win.

It was revealed after the match that under these masks were Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza of the Los Lotharios tag team, who made their first appearance on the WWE main roster since May earlier this year. The pair went back down to NXT for several months where they received a repackaged gimmick, though it didn’t lead to much success.
