According to a report from
Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE backstage interviewer Dasha Fuentes has been released by the company.
The report does not give a reason for the release and states that Dasha was in New York for WrestleMania 35 weekend.
We await official confirmation on the release from WWE or Dasha herself - although she did post a video on Instagram saying “it’s been an interesting couple of days” and that she’s going on a non-work related trip.
Fuentes joined WWE all the way back in 2014 as an in-ring performer as part of the company's developmental systerm at the Performance Center. However, she became a member of the broadcast team in NXT in 2015, appaearing for the yellow brand as a backstage interviewer.
Dasha then started to appear on main roster shows and latterly 205 Live.
The 30-year-old's last appearance on WWE TV happened on the April 1 episode of Monday Night Raw. It appears her spot has gone to Sarah Schreiber, who has recently joined the likes of Charly Caruso and Kayla Braxton conducting the on-air backstage interviews on Monday and Tuesday nights.
