Speculation and assumptions about AEW’s TV deal cease as of Wednesday, as All Elite Wrestling officially reveals TNT as its television home.

Both parties issued a joint press release heralding the union, hours ahead of WarnerMedia’s advertiser upfronts in New York City.

Specifics, such as the show’s name, starting date, and runtime have yet to be revealed. What is officially known, however, is that it will be a live weekly show beginning later this year, presumably in the fall.

Also noted in the release is that Bleacher Report Live will be the official digital streaming partner in the United States for Double or Nothing on May 25, to go along with traditional pay-per-view.

Per the release, AEW will have, “less scripted, soapy drama, and more athleticism and real sports analytics, bringing a legitimacy to wrestling that it has not previously had. Wrestlers will also be given more freedom to explore their characters and highlight their athletic abilities.”

In an apropos callback to Ted Turner’s 1988 phone call to Vince McMahon, TNT Drama’s Twitter account tweeted out earlier this morning, “We’re back in the wrestling business! #AEW
