Zelina Vega's Absence From WWE Raw Not Due To Injury

Zelina Vega has been absent from WWE Raw in recent weeks, having been written off TV with a backstage attack from Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler on the July 29 edition of Monday Night Raw.

WWE have carried out a couple of angles in recent weeks to write off talents with legitimate injuries, with Seth Rollins being laid out by Bronson Reed so he can heal up from chronic injury issues, while Dakota Kai was also taken out by Stark, Baszler, and Deville due to having a legitimate torn meniscus.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider, however, has reported that Vega's absence from WWE is not related to injury. Why exactly she is off WWE programming is unknown and it may simply be a storyline to get over the new Pure Fusion Collective stable.

Vega has continued to interact with talents while off WWE TV which led to a tweet from Women's World Champion Liv Morgan stating: "Girl u sitting at home making ur own vignettes, shut up."

Vega did recently thank fans for their support of her, writing: "I know I say it a lot but just know, I really appreciate y'all. I often think of that 9yr old girl going to MSG w/ my dad to watch and now I take him in the ring with me, sung out by the most incredible fans in the world. Thank you all for believing in me. I won’t let you down."
