Photos surfaced on Friday

depicting the WrestleMania 35 staging area and set during the later stages of their construction. It was noted that the set seemed to be rather minimalist, with just a giant screen atop the stage, along with the usual tarpaulin/column set-up over top the ring.

As fans have begun to file into MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon, many are sharing photos of the completed set and it looks...about like what we saw Friday.

A

giant curved screen

that is the Titan Tron sits atop the stage, but without any further adornment. The tarpaulin over the ring is adorned with a circular tron, which seems to be standard for outdoor WrestleManias of recent years.

The set feels much more minimalist than when WWE ran WrestleMania 29 in the same building six years ago. For that event, New York landmarks where represented in replica form as part of a majestic set, including The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, and The Brooklyn Bridge.

On the upside, at least the weather is nicer this time around, with sunny skies and spring-like warmth (though a very minuscule chance of rain was possible for the evening). The 2013 show was partially beset by chilly temperatures and light rain.
