is reporting that WWE will return to Saudi Arabia on Friday, May 3.

This will be the third time the company head over to Saudi Arabia as part of the 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority. WWE are being trusted with promoting the Saudi Vision 2030 movement - Saudi Arabia's social and economic reform program.

The first WWE event over there was the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view last April, where The Undertaker defeated Rusev in a Casket Match, John Cena defeated Triple H, and Braun Strowman took home rather a fetching GRR championship title and trophy by winning a massive Royal Rumble.

The second event was the highly controversial Crown Jewel, headlined by the WWE World Cup and Brothers of Destruction vs. D-Generation X tag match. The event was overshadowed by the global political situation regarding the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

References to Crown Jewel have been removed from WWE's website, while on-screen talent have been referring to the event as solely "WWE World Cup" in recent times.
