WWE Talent Much Happier Working Under Triple H Than Vince McMahon
Working under Triple H makes WWE talent happier than working under Vince McMahon
Jan 5, 2024
Pending any last minute corporate drama, 2024 is set to be the first full year in which Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque heads up WWE creative as Chief Content Officer, with Levesque fully taking control after the WWE-UFC merger.
Levesque originally took over in the wake of Vince McMahon’s ‘retirement’ after the hush money scandal broke, only for McMahon to eek his way back into power ahead of the sale of WWE to Ari Emanuel. Regardless, for much of Levesque’s tenure thus far, WWE has seen an upswing in critical and commercial performance, with the product heralded by many as the best it has been in years.
During a recent episode of Figure Four Daily, Bryan Alvarez noted how he’s heard from some within WWE how talent is happier working under Levesque than they were working under McMahon:
“I’ve heard all sorts of stories about morale after Vince was gone. People like working under Triple H a heck of a lot more than they did working under ole Vince. That I can tell you.
“As far as Vince and Triple H, one thing I heard somebody say yesterday, who has been a long time, was you know ‘one of the big differences is I have never seen Triple H blow his stack over anything. Like not one time ever have I seen him totally flip out.’ Vince, he could be a complete maniac sometimes.’ They said, ‘Not one time. Not one time have I ever seen him have a blow up.’ Much easier work environment with ole Vince and Kevin Dunn gone. So it’s a new 2024,” said Alvarez.
