Back on October 7, Josue Romero filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against WWE. Details of the lawsuit were first reported by HeelByNature.

Within the filing, Romero noted, "he is a visually-impaired and legally blind person who requires screen-reading software to read website content using his computer." He alleged the WWE Shop website "is not equally accessible to blind and visually-impaired consumers" and was therefore in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

He requested WWE change its policies and procedures to ensure the WWE Shop website is accessible to blind and visually-impaired customers. He also requested costs and expenses for attorney fees, as well as a jury trial.

According to HeelByNature, WWE settled the lawsuit out of court for an undisclosed amount. Romero's attorney filed a notice of settlement with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on December 7 and advised the court to dismiss the case.
