WWE seemingly have no plans for a former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.

Aliyah has been off WWE TV since the September 12, 2022, edition of Monday Night Raw. She announced shortly after that she had an elevated first rib and an AC sprain, which would be considered minor injuries but the former champion has yet to return to TV.

Taking to Twitter, Aliyah revealed that she has been medically cleared for an in-ring return since October 27. Her lack of a return would suggest WWE simply have no plans for Aliyah at the moment.

Aliyah seemingly won't be back in time for Elimination Chamber either as she said "sorry to let you down" to a fan after they asked if she would be in Montreal for the February 18 pay-per-view. She also sent the same message to a fan about WWE 2K23, suggesting she might not be in the video game. The tweets have since been deleted.

Aliyah has been a part of the WWE main roster since late 2021, rising to prominence after she defeated Natalya in 3.17 seconds. Aliyah held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships for two weeks with Raquel Rodriguez in the summer of 2022.
