WWE's Japanese television partner, J-Sports, have announced they will no longer be offering WWE programming and pay-per-views in 2022.

J-Sports will stop broadcast WWE products effective January 31 2022.

Currently, J-Sports shows WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown live on their channel J-Sports 4, while offering the option to order WWE pay-per-views and other monthly specials on J-Sports On Demand.

However, WWE's TV partner in Japan has confirmed that all of their WWE-related services will cease as of the end of next January.

A statement shared on social media read: "[Important Notice] 'WWE Raw' and 'WWE SmackDown' will be discontinued, and J SPORTS On Demand “WWE Pack” will be discontinued.

"If you are a 'WWE Pack' subscriber, you will need to cancel the contract."

J-Sports and WWE will have been partnered together for 25 years at the culmination of their agreement in 2022, having previously announced a three-year extension in January 2019. It appears that one of the two parties has opted to not renew the deal.

There is currently no word as to whether WWE have begun talks with a different television network to continue coverage of their product in Japan.
