Bayley wins the Women's Royal Rumble Match

1. Natalya

2. Naomi

WWE wasted no time in beginning the Royal Rumble with a big surprise as Naomi made her return to WWE, entering the women's Royal Rumble as the second entrant. Naomi was immediately emotional following the thunderous reaction to her return.

3. Bayley

4. Candice LeRae

5. Jordynne Grace

In a major moment, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace entered the Royal Rumble and was actually billed as a TNA talent. She had an emotional moment with Naomi as they embraced before pummelling each other in the head.

6. Indi Hartwell

7. Asuka

We had the first elimination of the match as Bayley saved Damage CTRL faction mate Asuka and eliminated Indi Hartwell.

8. Ivy Nile

9. Katana Chance

10. Bianca Belair

11. Kairi Sane

All three members of Damage CTRL in the ring worked together to secure the second elimination, hoisting Candice LeRae over the top rope.

12. Tegan Nox

Tag team partners turned enemies next as Natalya tried to eliminate Tegan Nox, only for Nox to turn the tables and throw the winningest women's wrestler in WWE history over the top rope. Bayley then took advantage and forced Nox over the top rope and to the floor.

13. Kayden Carter

Kairi Sane and Asuka were sent tumbling to the floor next. Kairi managed to save herself in an insane way, somehow hanging inches from the floor until she could hold on no more. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, one day on from losing their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships to the Kabuki Warriors, then eliminated Asuka.

14. Chelsea Green

Jordynne Grace put on a spirited performance but she was finally eliminated following a KOD from Bianca Belair on the apron.

15. Piper Niven

16. Xia Li

17. Zelina Vega

18. Maxxine Dupri

Piper Niven eliminated Kayden Carter.

19. Nia Jax

Nia Jax quickly picked up multiple eliminations, getting rid of Xia Li and Ivy Nile. There was then a running bit of Chelsea Green being crushed by Piper Niven and Nia Jax to the point she rolled to the floor.

20. Shotzi

Nia Jax survived an attempt from everyone in the ring to eliminate her and she got rid of Piper Niven. Before that, Bayley eliminated Maxxine Dupri.

21. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch scored her first elimination quickly, getting rid of Chelsea Green.

22. Alba Fyre

23. Shayna Baszler

24. Valhalla (& R-Truth)

Michael Cole was absolutely delighted to see Valhalla wear antlers to the ring but then R-Truth(?!) ran to the ring, unofficially entering the Rumble. He was then promptly eliminated by Nia Jax. Adam Pearce came to the ring to berate R-Truth and made sure Valhalla entered the match, only for the Viking Raiders manager to be dumped out after five seconds by Jax (tying the record for quickest women's Royal Rumble elimination in the process.)

25. Michin

Naomi eliminated Alba Fyre.

26. Zoey Stark

Zoey Stark saved her tag team partner, Shayna Baszler, by eliminating Zelina Vega with a kick to the floor.

27. Roxanne Perez

Nia Jax continued on her roll as she eliminated former tag team partner Shayna Baszler and then Michin. Shotzi was then Powerbombed to the floor by Jax, eliminating her.

28. Jade Cargill

A storm then arrived for Nia Jax as she entered at #28. After a brawl, Nia Jax was then sent crashing to the floor following a Spinebuster and Bodyslam from Jade Cargill.

29. Tiffany Stratton

30. Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan was the final entrant in the women's Royal Rumble, appearing on WWE TV since suffering a shoulder injury in the Summer of 2023. Liv Morgan immediately scored an elimination, getting rid of Zoey Stark following an Oblivion. Roxanne Perez then did the Shawn Michaels legs dangling spot, only to be eliminated by her NXT colleague Tiffany Stratton with a quick slap to the arms.

Jade Cargill then proved her dominance as she swung Naomi into Becky Lynch to eliminate The Man. Naomi was then dumped to the floor to bring the field down to five. Two were then dumped out as Tiffany Stratton used Bianca Belair's braid in an attempt to pull her to the floor. Both of them were sent crashing out, though, following a Bayley kick.

This brought the match down to Jade Cargill, Liv Morgan, and Bayley. All three talents quickly ended up grappling on the apron and Jade Cargill was eliminated following an Oblivion from Liv Morgan. Morgan had no time to recover from the move as she was kicked out of the ring by Bayley as she won the WWE Women's Royal Rumble!

Roman Reigns (c) def. Randy Orton, LA Knight, & AJ Styles - Fatal 4-Way for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship was on the line in the second match of the night as Roman Reigns defended the belt in a multi-man match for the first time since the main event of WrestleMania 37 in 2021.

It initially appeared the three challengers would work together but that ultimately wasn't the case as LA Knight was on top in the early going, bouncing his opponents' heads off the announce table over and over again. LA Knight then continued to enjoy moments on top as the match continued, being serenaded with YEAH! chants.

LA Knight then had the match won following a BFT to Roman Reigns but AJ Styles, through fortune, managed to fall on top of the pinning attempt to save the match. The punishment for Roman Reigns then continued following a Styles Clash from AJ Styles and it was LA Knight's turn to save the match this time. Soon after, Styles went for a Phenomenal Forearm but Randy Orton caught him mid-springboard with an RKO. An RKO to LA Knight followed before another RKO out of nowhere to Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion went for a Superman Punch.

Orton had the match won this time with a pin on Reigns and the referee was about to count the 1-2-3, only to be pulled out of the ring by an interfering Solo Sikoa. Sikoa then decked LA Knight and Randy Orton with Samoan Spikes. Sikoa tried to take out AJ Styles with a charge through the barricade but Styles moved out of the way as Sikoa crashed and burned.

In a callback to WrestleMania 37, Randy Orton, LA Knight, and Roman Reigns ended up stacked on top of each other following a Phenomenal Forearm from AJ Styles but all three talents kicked out at the same time. AJ Styles briefly introduced a steel chair to the mix, beating down LA Knight, until Styles was taken out by Randy Orton. Roman Reigns then caught Orton with a Spear. LA Knight then went for the BFT to Reigns again but Reigns countered, pushing Knight into the ropes and knocking Styles into the ring as he went for a Phenomenal Forearm.

With Styles staggering, Reigns caught LA Knight with a Superman Punch and decked Styles with a Spear before pinning the two-time WWE Champion to score the successful Undisputed WWE Universal Title defence.

Logan Paul (c) def. Kevin Owens by DQ - United States Championship

Kevin Owens dominated the opening minutes of the match, including knocking a GoPro camera off the apron with Paul's body, but Logan Paul eventually fought back by targeting Owens' injured hand. The United States Champion followed up with a Crossbody-Moonsault combination inside the ring for a near fall before he went back to targeting the broken hand including with an Octopus Hold.

Logan Paul dominated the in-ring action for the next several minutes, continuing to hurt the hand, but Owens managed to fight back with two Cannonballs and a Frog Splash for a near fall of his own. Owens then went for a Swanton Bomb but he landed on Paul's knees. Paul then missed a Swanton Bomb of his own as Owens rolled out of the way. This led to a Buckshot Lariat from Logan Paul somehow before a Frog Splash from Paul for another near fall. Paul went for a Superplex on Owens but he spent too long shouting at Corey Graves which allowed Owens to fire back with a Northern Lights Bomb. The challenger then went for a Stunner but it was blocked by Paul, who targeted the hand again.

The two competitors exchanged finishers next before Logan Paul hammered Kevin Owens with a big right hand. That looked to be it as Owens collapsed to the mat but Kevin Owens managed to kick out. Logan Paul then tried to get his entourage involved but the referee ordered security to remove him from ringside. This only allowed Austin Theory and Grayson Waller to come to ringside and protest the exclusion before Theory slipped Logan Paul the pair of brass knuckles.

Logan Paul then went to punch Owens but KO blocked it and The Prizefighter prised the brass knuckles from Paul's fingers and put them on his own. One brass knucks punch later and Owens had the match won. The referee even counted the 1-2-3, only to realise KO was wearing the knucks so he decided to call for the bell and hand Owens the loss by disqualification.

This programme looks set to continue, though, as an angry Owens proceeded to put Logan Paul through the announce table with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Cody Rhodes wins the Men's Royal Rumble Match

1. Jey Uso

2. Jimmy Uso

Months after he was betrayed by his brother at SummerSlam 2023, Jey Uso finally came face-to-face with Jimmy Uso. After some intense starting, the two brothers collided, with Jey getting the better of the exchange.

3. Grayson Waller

Grayson Waller held a mini Grayson Waller Effect on his way to the ring as he said no one cared about the sibling rivalry. He ate a Superkick to the face from Jey for his trouble.

4. Andrade

As expected, Andrade (without El Idolo) returned to WWE at #4 in the Royal Rumble and immediately took out Grayson Waller, without eliminating him.

5. Carmelo Hayes

The former NXT Champion entered next and scored the first elimination of the match, getting rid of Grayson Waller (his former rival over the NXT Title).

6. Shinsuke Nakamura

7. Santos Escobar

8. Karrion Kross

9. Dominik Mysterio

10. Carlito

Santos Escobar was sent out next by Carlito after Caribbean Cool spat an apple in Escobar's face.

11. Bobby Lashley

Just as Karrion Kross began to dominate, Bobby Lashley made his entrance and went straight after his rival following Spears to Shinsuke Nakamura and Jimmy Uso. Bronson Reed also got rid of Andrade. Lashley then got rid of Carlito and Karrion Kross before he was eliminated himself by Kross on the outside. This led to a brawl between Lashley, AOP, Karion Kross, and the Street Profits.

12. Ludwig Kaiser

13. Austin Theory

14. Finn Balor

Carmelo Hayes was eliminated out of nowhere following Finn Balor's entrance as he worked with Judgment Day faction mate Dominik Mysterio.

15. Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes livened up the Rumble and ran wild, immediately eliminating Austin Theory following a Cross Rhodes.

16. Bronson Reed

17. Kofi Kingston

Cody Rhodes scored his second elimination following a Cross Rhodes to Shinsuke Nakamura while he was draped in the ropes, ending their rivalry once and for all from the looks of it. Trouble in Paradise got rid of Kofi's own rival next in Ludwig Kaiser following a Trouble in Paradise.

18. Gunther

Ludwig Kaiser received a berating from Gunther as the Intercontinental Champion headed to the ring. Gunther dominated the field before he and Cody had a brief face-off. Gunther then eliminated Kofi Kingston ahead of their Intercontinental Championship match on Raw.

19. Ivar

20. Bron Breakker

Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker ran wild, eliminating Jimmy Uso and Finn Balor before he speared Gunther, looking mightily impressive.

21. Omos

Omos managed to score his first elimination after Bronson Reed helpfully climbed over the top rope and to the floor following a weak big boot. Bron Breakker then scored another elimination following a Springboard Spear to Ivar before throwing him over the top rope.

22. Pat McAfee

After being on commentary for the night, Pat McAfee entered the match and eliminated himself after 38 seconds due to seeing Omos and Bron Breakker in the ring. Omos was then sent crashing out following a lariat from Bron Breakker. As Breakker celebrated, Bron was sent out by Dominik Mysterio.

23. JD McDonagh

The above happened while McDonagh was making his entrance so he ate a Breakker spear as Bron headed to the back.

24. R-Truth

After entering the women's Royal Rumble earlier in the night, R-Truth entered the Royal Rumble, threw JD McDonagh in to be eliminated in one second by Gunther before he thought it was a tag team match and waited for a hot tag from Dom. Mysterio was in a sleeper from Gunther until he managed to make the hot tag. R-Truth then looked set to deck Gunther with a Five Knuckle Shuffle (paying homage to his hero John Cena) but Gunther rose at the last possible moment.

25. The Miz

26. Damian Priest

Despite the Judgment Day alliance, Priest immediately got rid of R-Truth only shortly after Truth saved Dirty Dom from being eliminated.

27. CM Punk

It's CM Punk time, finally and he quickly dumped out Dominik Mysterio.

28. Ricochet

Gunther got rid of The Miz as the match continued.

29. Drew McIntyre

Jey Uso came close to eliminating Gunther but the Intercontinental Champion managed to pull Jey over the top rope.

30. Sami Zayn

Ricochet was sent crashing out next, being flipped over the top rope by Drew McIntyre. This brought the match down to six with Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, and Gunther. Sami Zayn ran wild moments later, hitting a Helluva Kick on Irn Dru before dumping out Priest. As Zayn celebrated, McIntyre got rid of Zayn over the top rope.

Then there was four. Rhodes came close to getting rid of Gunther following a Cody Cutter but Der Ring General fired back with a hellacious Lariat to save himself. Next, there was a chop battle between Gunther and Drew McIntyre just on Cody Rhodes and CM Punk as opposed to each other. McIntyre then went for a Claymore to Punk but missed and Punk tried and failed to hit a GTS.

A Claymore party followed as McIntyre took out Gunther, Cody, and Punk. McIntyre then taunted Punk but it came back to bite him as The Second City Saviour dumped out Irn Dru to bring the match down to three. Gunther then looked to get rid of Cody but Rhodes hung on and managed to pull the IC Champion over the top rope to the floor, just like he did last year.

This brought the match down to CM Punk and Cody Rhodes! The two former AEW stars exchanged blows and had a mini match as they looked to punch their ticket to WrestleMania 40. After back-and-forth action, Rhodes managed to hit the Cross Rhodes but he was unable to follow up in quick fashion as he limped over to Punk as Tropicana Field filled with chants for the American Nightmare. Punk managed to fire back with a GTS as they both collapsed to the mat this time. Next was a Pedigree from CM Punk of all the moves before saying he didn't wait 10 years to lose to Dusty's kid. One more GTS attempt and Rhodes blocked it, countering and throwing CM Punk over the top rope.

Cody Rhodes is going to WrestleMania and the American Nightmare pointed at Roman Reigns to end the show, setting up a confrontation to finally finish the story at the Showcase of the Immortals.
