WWE Planning Group Vs. Group Feud
A group vs. group feud is in the works within WWE

WWE have big plans in motion for when one of their top stars returns from injury.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the LWO is set to split even further and there will be a group vs. group programme with Santos Escobar on one side and Rey Mysterio on the other when the former World Heavyweight Champion returns from injury.
"The idea is it's gonna be group vs. group. It's gonna be Santos with partners against Rey with partners. I don't know what they're going to do with the LWO name, which side gets it. Maybe they're gonna feud over the name even, I don't know. But it's gonna be a group vs. group thing, and obviously Carlito will be with Rey, and Santos will be with, at least right now, Cruz and Joaquin. I don't know where Zelina's going. So that's the situation there," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Issues between Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar had been bubbling under the surface for months ever since Mysterio captured the United States Championship. Rey dropped the belt to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel and Santos Escobar was involved in the outcome as Paul's brass knuckles somehow found their way into the ring during the close stages after Escobar interfered.
This prompted Carlito to blame Mysterio's loss on Escobar during the November 10 edition of SmackDown and Santos would later turn on Mysterio, laying him out and dropkicking the steel steps into Mysterio's knee.
The spot was done to write Mysterio off WWE TV and he has since undergone knee surgery. Mysterio reportedly had been working with a torn meniscus over the past three months and he is expected to be on the shelf for six to eight weeks.
