A return took place on Friday night at an NXT Live Event at the Crystal River Armory in Crystal River, Florida.

Sol Ruca returned to action for the first time in nine months, teaming up with Brinley Reece in a losing effort to the Chase U duo of Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail. Ruca was ruled out of action with a torn ACL, undergoing surgery last May. She was written off television in an angle where she was attacked by Blair Davenport, and she hasn’t been seen on NXT programming ever since. Her last match prior to her injury came on a live event on April 14, 2023, where she teamed with Dani Palmer to beat Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend.

To celebrate her return, she made a post on X.

“Wooohooo it’s good to be back #NXTCrystalRiver.”

Ruca signed with WWE in 2022, debuting on NXT programming in September. It wasn’t long until she caught the eyes of fans with her eye-catching finishing move which went viral, but before she could really get going, she was sidelined with this long-term injury.
