WWE NXT Not Looking To Run Arenas Again Anytime Soon
WWE NXT looking to regrow before contemplating arena shows again

With Triple H in control of WWE and NXT turning away from the ‘paint spattered 2.0’ era and back towards more of a ‘black and gold era’ aesthetic, fans were quick to ponder whether NXT could run massive TakeOver shows once more.
Whilst there is no word on whether the TakeOver brand will return, it seems that NXT will not be running large arenas again anytime soon, with NXT head Shawn Michaels telling the MMA Hour:
“At the forefront, I’m more focused on developmental and developing the young men and women that we have pass through here and getting them prepared for the main roster. In the process, if we are able to build back this brand where we can get back into those arenas and start selling them out, that’s a bonus, but I can’t say honestly that’s the goal right now. To me, I’m focused on the development of these young men and women. But I tell you, the more people we can get that have experience that can filter through our system, it’s only going to help,” said Michaels.
At their peak, NXT TakeOver events could easily fill large-scale arenas across the United States, with the much-lauded NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn events drawing over 15,000 fans to the Barclays Center from 2015 to 2019.
