The dust has barely settled from WWE/NXT's latest big signing - Matt Riddle - yet it looks like Triple H et al are already eyeing up yet another potential incoming who is also attracting the interest of New Japan Pro Wrestling.

, but Dave Meltzer claims that the two biggest wrestling promotions in the world today are keeping tabs on IMPACT Wrestling star Killer Kross.

"Due to his size and look, both New Japan and WWE have interest in Killer Kross," Uncle Dave notes.

Standing at 6 foot 4 inches and weighing in at 265 pounds, it's easy to see why the big boys are interested in Kross. He's a rarity in the world of professional wrestling today, a business that is getting smaller and smaller over time.

Kross has turned out for the likes of Lucha Underground and AAA over the past couple of years, and made his IMPACT debut on June 14 where he revealed himself to be the mystery X attacker - the way that segment was done was one of the best debuts I've seen in a very long time in any promotion, by the way.

Since then, Kross, who won the Rising Star Award at the 2018 Cauliflower Alley Club ceremony, has gone on quite a tear through the IMPACT roster, defeating the likes of Fallah Bahh, Petey Williams - who he attacked during his debut - and Josh Alexander. More recently, he's been able to insert himself in the upper echelons of the card, feuding with the likes of Moose and Austin Aries.
