10 months on from their last pay-per-view in the country, WWE returned to the United Kingdom and presented Money in the Bank 2023 from The O2 in London, England on Saturday, July 1. The show looked to define the next several months of WWE TV with two Money in the Bank ladder matches, a Bloodline Civil War tag team clash, and a World Heavyweight Title match.

Check out the WWE Money in the Bank 2023 results below:

Damian Priest def. LA Knight, Logan Paul, Butch, Shinsuke Nakamura, Santos Escobar, and Ricochet - Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Entering last, Logan Paul was quickly beaten down to draw huge cheers from the fans in London, England. Paul fended off the barrage and was the first wrestler to climb the ladder but he was quickly taken down by Shinsuke Nakamura. Logan Paul then came close to winning again until everyone in the match but Damian Priest pulled him from the ladder and beat him down.

In a huge moment for England, Butch battered everyone in the ring with a cricket bat before Damian Priest ran roughshod over everyone except Logan Paul as they formed a temporary alliance. That alliance came to an end after they set up two tables on the outside. Ricochet then hit a huge spot, diving through the ladder and taking out everyone at ringside.

In the next big spot of the match, Logan Paul Frog Splashed Damian Priest on a ladder bridge that refused to break. Ricochet then hit a 450 Splash onto a ladder in the ring while Butch and Santos Escobar were draped across it. After more crazy moments, Butch hit a huge Moonsault from a ladder to the outside, taking out everyone but Logan Paul, who was there to stop Butch when he tried to scale the ladder. Paul got his hands on the briefcase, only to be pulled down by Ricochet and then Santos Escobar. After Shinsuke Nakamura and Escobar were on two ladders, Logan Paul and Ricochet springboarded onto separate ladders and they pushed off Escobar and Nakamura.

LA Knight then pushed over the other ladder and the idea was for the ladder to fall into a Springboard Spanish Fly from Ricochet to Paul through the tables on the floor. They got hung up, though, and just about managed to save the spot. Back in the ring Butch and Damian Priest were brawling on top of the ladder and Priest took out Butch, sending him crashing onto another ladder. LA Knight then pulled down Priest. The former Eli Drake then took out everyone and it looked like he was about to win but Priest came out of nowhere and hit a Broken Arrow to Knight off the ladder. Priest then scaled the ladder and won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez def. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler (c) - WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

In a short match, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez challenged Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Ronda Rousey looked set to defeat Liv Morgan after several minutes but Shayna Baszler suddenly attacked Rousey, choking out her own partner with the Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler then abandoned Rousey and Rodriguez and Morgan put Ronda away with the Chingona Bomb and Oblivion for the win.

GUNTHER (c) def. Matt Riddle - Intercontinental Championship

In a match that had huge potential, GUNTHER defended the Intercontinental Title against Matt Riddle.

GUNTHER hit the first big blow of the night but Matt Riddle fired back with a leg bar, only to literally be chopped down by GUNTHER. Riddle tried to fire back but GUNTHER remained on top, applying a Leg Bar of his own until Riddle escaped with kicks to the head and a German Suplex. Riddle then went for the Broton but got caught by a Sleeper. GUNTHER hit a German Suplex and Riddle tried to land on his feet, hurting his already injured ankle in the process.

Riddle wasn't down for long and he hit a PK and the Floating Bro for a near fall. Later, Riddle applied a Triangle Choke but GUNTHER escaped with a Powerbomb before he applied a Half Crab. GUNTHER then just started chopping Riddle's foot before he re-applied the leg bar for the submission win.

Before GUNTHER could celebrate too much, Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE to a huge ovation and stood face-to-face with GUNTHER. The Intercontinental Champion pushed GUNTHER but Irn Dru soon put him down with a Glasgow Kiss and the Claymore to end the segment standing tall, holding up the Intercontinental Title.

Cody Rhodes def. Dominik Mysterio

After some chasing Dominik Mysterio through the crowd from Cody Rhodes, Ex-Con Dom took control after Rhea Ripley stopped Cody in his tracks.

Mysterio then dominated the action as "Dom is a w*nker" chants filled The O2. Dom hit the Three Amigos and later went for the 619 but it was blocked by Cody, who followed up with an Airplane Spin and Alabama Slam before the Cody Cutter. One Cross Rhodes later and Mysterio scored the 1-2-3.

John Cena Returns

Out of nowhere, John Cena made his return and headed to the ring, briefly rapping as the fans in London joined in. Cena then talked about another show taking place in London, mentioning that London was a hostile environment and the crowd tried to take over the event. After all of that, Cena praised the crowd in London, saying the fans are in fact the show.

Cena then addressed why he is actually there because he wants the world to know London is underappreciated and he is big on respect and the UK has earned the 16-time world champion's respect. Cena then announced that he is actually there to try and bring WrestleMania to London to a huge reaction inside The O2.

The crowd continued to go wild until Grayson Waller came out and proclaimed his love of John Cena's jorts and his performance in Scooby-Doo. Waller then called WrestleMania in England a joke before he proclaimed the virtues of Australia. After chants calling him a "w*nker", Waller said he doesn't need to tug one out, before he said he could get Cena a spot on WrestleMania in Australia.

Waller then said Cena only needed one viral moment to get back on top and after more back and forth, Waller attacked Cena from behind and beat down Big Match John until Cena fired up and decked him with an Attitude Adjustment to end the segment.

Cena is currently in the United Kingdom filming Heads of State with Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

IYO SKY def. Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Trish Stratus, Zelina Vega, & Bayley - Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Next up was the women's WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match and after several minutes, the first big spot of the match took place as IYO SKY hit a huge Moonsault from a ladder to everyone in the ring. Trish Stratus then came close to winning before being knocked out by Becky Lynch. Vega then looked to scale the ladder which led to Lynch and Stratus working together to hit a Double Powerbomb.

Lynch and Stratus quickly began brawling again and Zoey Stark levelled The Man with a Superkick. The woman with the Game of Thrones name then grabbed handcuffs from under the ring and she and Stratus tried and failed to handcuff Becky to the ring as Lynch fired them both into the barricade before she dropped Stark on a ladder on the floor. Moments later, Lynch hit a Manhandle Slam to Stratus on the ladder before Stark decked Lynch with a Blockbuster.

Back in the ring and Vega hit Stark with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb from a ladder onto a ladder bridge. With everyone down and out, IYO SKY was about to win until Bayley (her Damage CTRL faction mate) pushed her from the ladder. Bayley then looked set to win, only for Becky Lynch to mutilate her mouth with the handcuffs. Bayley managed to quickly recover and after a brawl on the ladder, IYO SKY handcuffed Becky Lynch and Bayley together in the middle of the ladder.

After an age, IYO SKY captured the briefcase to win!

Seth Rollins (c) def. Finn Balor - World Heavyweight Championship

The World Heavyweight Championship was on the line in the next match as Finn Balor challenged Seth Rollins for the gold.

For the first several minutes, Balor enjoyed time on top, targeting Rollins' injured ribs. Rollins fired back, though, and decked Balor with a Buckle Bomb - the move that injured him back at SummerSlam 2016.

Later, both men avoided each other's finishers and Rollins caught Balor's Pele Kick, fighting back with a Pedigree for a near fall. With both men down, Damian Priest made his way to ringside with his Money in the Bank briefcase to distract Rollins, who dared Priest to cash in. Balor scored a near fall from a roll-up as Priest just sat by the announce table watching the action.

Rollins remained distracted and ate a Shotgun Dropkick from Balor into the barricade. The Prince followed up with two Coup De Graces, one from the announce table and one from the steel steps. Another Shotgun Dropkick in the ring and Balor set up for the Coup De Grace. As Balor had the match won, Priest stood up and briefly distracted his Judgment Day stable mate.

This was enough for Rollins to recover and he avoided the Coup De Grace, following up with the Stomp for the successful title defence.

Post-match, Balor berated Priest for costing him the World Heavyweight Championship.

The Usos def. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa - Bloodline Civil War

After all of that, it was time for the main event as the Bloodline Civil War took centre stage with The Usos vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The match eventually got underway with a staredown and 'Tribal w*nker' chants. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso had a brief interaction with The Usos on top before Roman Reigns shouted "No!" at Solo, with Sikoa obliging and tagging in the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Jey tagged in too and Reigns was dominant throughout before he evaded a Double Superkick from The Usos which led to a brief chit-chat with Paul Heyman, who counselled Roman to prove that he is still the Head of the Table. This inspired Roman and he and Solo proceeded to beat down Jey for several minutes. Jimmy tried to help his brother and failed miserably, being punched to the mat by Solo. This prompted "Stand up if you hate Roman" chants from the UK fans before "Sit down if you hate Roman" chants when their legs got tired.

After several more minutes of heel dominance, Roman Reigns set up for the Superman Punch but Jimmy avoided it and sent them both tumbling to the outside. Jey then received the hot tag from Jimmy and he took out Solo before he decked Roman with two Suicide Dives and one to Sikoa. Jey went for another Suicide Dive straight into a Superman Punch on the outside from Reigns. Roman hit another Superman Punch back in the ring and went for the Spear, only to eat a Double Spear from The Usos. Reigns wasn't going to kick out but Solo made the save to keep the match going.

After a brawl, Jimmy caught Roman with two Superkicks and went for the Uso Splash, only for Reigns to catch him with the Guillotine. Jimmy just about stopped himself from passing out and managed to fire out, only to knock out the referee. The Usos then got a visual pin following a 1D to Roman. Jey and Jimmy then set up for a Double Uso Splash but Solo stopped them and the heels hit Double Uranages in response. Samoan Spike to Jimmy before a Samoan Spike-Spear combo to Jey. Reigns then stacked The Usos and the referee magically recovered to count the pinfall. Chants of bullsh*t filled The O2 as that looked to be it but The Usos kicked out at 2.99!

After Reigns had a spell in disbelief, the heels went back to beating down The Usos. Solo Sikoa looked to put Jimmy through the announce table with the Uso Splash but Jimmy moved out of the way, sending Solo crashing through the announce table.

This left Roman alone and Jey hit a Superkick, only for Roman to hit a Superman Punch and roll through a Superkick into a Spear. Jey once again managed to kick out, low-blowing Roman in the process. With Roman having sore nether regions, The Usos unleashed a Superkick Party to Reigns and Sikoa. With Roman down, Jey hit an Uso Splash and pinned Roman Reigns!

Jimmy looked to check on Roman after the match as Reigns fumed on the outside but Jey stopped him. Where The Bloodline goes from here remains to be seen.
