Over the past couple of months, WWE has cracked down on Superstars using third-party platforms like Cameo and Twitch. Talent have since suspended their accounts on both platforms, but the current Twitch ban does not apply to NXT wrestlers at the moment.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported that WWE took control of talent's Twitch accounts because the company is looking to relaunch its own presence on the platform by the end of the year and wanted to remove anything that could run opposite its strategy.

Some WWE sources also posited the theory that Nick Khan is looking to reposition WWE as an in-house management firm so all third-party opportunities for talent have to go through the company.

WWE took the first steps towards creating this management firm yesterday and the company is looking to recruit a Talent Brand Manager for the WWE Talent Management Group.

The in-house talent agency "will deliver best-in-class 360-degree support of Talent across all internal lines of business and key external partners, amplifying Talent brand value and maximizing monetization opportunities for Talent and WWE."

The responsibilities of the Talent Brand Manager are as follows: • Work across all lines of business to develop and execute growth strategies for talent brands. • Drive opportunities for talent brands internally and externally. • Align talent goals and personal interests to WWE strategic initiatives. • Develop and maintain talent marketing materials.   • Monitor growth of individual talent brands. • Collaborate with talent third parties to solicit and assess new opportunities. • Assist in benchmarking economics for talent engagements. • Provide market intelligence and best practices for holistic brand development.
