WWE File To Oppose The Revival's Trademarks

Back on April 10, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival were released by WWE. Now going by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, the tag team have retained a positive outlook since their releases and have already put plans in motion for their return to professional wrestling.

Their new team name is seemingly The Revolt and they have released a new logo and video which suggests their new persona will be centred around them trying to liberate wrestling. Harwood and Wheeler are also expected to debut in All Elite Wrestling in the coming weeks, as they are on a collision course with The Young Bucks to decide who is the best tag team in the world.

Whether elements of The Revival will follow them to AEW is currently up in the air. Wheeler and Harwood have previously filed trademarks for "Say Yeah," "Shatter Machine," "Top Guys," "No Flips Just Fists," and "FTRKO," but WWE started the process to oppose the trademarks yesterday. The wrestling behemoth now has until August 26 to file an opposition to the trademarks or request another extension.

This marked an action-packed week for the Intellectual Property department at WWE as they also opposed "The Match Beyond" and "Slamboree" which had previously been trademarked by AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes.
