WWE has confirmed that a second NXT TakeOver In Your House is scheduled for June 13.

Several media outlets had reported the news, with Johnny Gargano confirming the event was going ahead to Barstool Sports, but now WWE have put out an official press release confirming the event.

The show follows on from TakeOver: In Your House on June 7 2020, the first WWE produced In Your House event since St. Valentine's Day Massacre: In Your House in 1999. Last year’s show featured the in-ring debut of Karrion Kross, and Io Shirai becoming NXT Women’s Champion, and was the first TakeOver of the Covid-19 era.

Like last year’s show, In Your House 2021 will feature the return of WWE New Generation backstage reporter Todd Pettengill on hosting duties. Todd is synonymous with In Your House, hosting the first edition with Stephanie Wiand in May 1995.

The nostalgia factor of the 2020 event was a hit with fans, and was even addressed by Triple H in a media call: “The reaction to it was huge. It was funny that we made the decision to name it In Your House, TakeOver: In Your House and it wasn’t until after that we made the decision that it was pointed out to me that it was like a couple days before the 25th anniversary of the first In Your House PPV. It was just a happy coincidence. So it all worked out great and yeah, I think we’ll see where it goes and the enjoyment level and everything else,” Triple H said, “but it definitely could become something that comes back. If it’s as good as I think as it’s gonna be I think people might demand it come back, so we’ll work on it.”
