New Japan Pro-Wrestling's month-long tournaments Best Of The Super Juniors 27 and World Tag League 2020 came to an end earlier today at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.

The Guerrillas Of Destiny and last year's winners FinJuice faced off in the World Tag League Final. Both teams threw everything they had at each other for over 20 minutes, but interference from Bullet Club was once again the decisive factor as KENTA charged to the ring in the later stages and clocked Robinson with the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Right To Challenge briefcase.

This gave Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa the opening to hit the Super Powerbomb and pin Juice for the win. Despite having six reigns as IWGP Tag Team Champions, this was G.O.D's first World Tag League victory.

In the main event, Hiromu Takahashi and El Desperado went one on one in the Final of the Best Of The Super Juniors 27. The longtime rivals battled back and forth for over 30 minutes and El Desperado even ripped off his mask at one point in a dramatic moment.

During the finish, Takahashi hit Desperado with a DVD in the exposed corner and planted him with a Time Bomb. The Suzuki-gun member miraculously kicked out, but Takahashi had the match in hand and picked up the victory after a Victory Royal and Time Bomb II.

To close out the show, The Time Bomb told El Desperado they will continue to battle until one of them retires. He then said he wanted to face the winner of the Super J Cup before facing Taiji Ishimori for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
