Will Ospreay is the new AEW International champion, after defeating Roderick Strong at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday night in Las Vegas.

Late in the bout, Ospreay balked at performing the Tiger Driver '91, after Don Callis instructed him to use the move. For the finish, Strong attempted the End of Heartache, only for Ospreay to land on his feet and immediately hit the Hidden Blade. Ospreay then finished with the Stormbreaker to win the title.

Earlier in the match, referee Bryce Remsburg ejected Undisputed Kingdom members Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Wardlow for their repeated interference.

For Ospreay, it's his first championship of any sort in AEW. After prior appearances with the organization in conjunction with the annual AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door (including last year's event, where he regained the IWGP United States title from Kenny Omega), Ospreay formally debuted on the AEW roster in March of this year.

Strong's reign as International champion ends at 84 days. He won the title from Orange Cassidy at AEW Revolution on March 3 in Greensboro.
