Will Ospreay's AEW Revolution Match Revealed
AEW Revolution confirmed to feature Will Ospreay in action
Feb 15, 2024
Will Ospreay is set to join All Elite Wrestling as a full-time competitor imminently after exiting New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and the ‘Aerial Assassin’ also has his first major match confirmed since becoming ‘All Elite’.
Reports suggested that Ospreay was being factored into AEW’s upcoming Revolution pay-per-view on March 3, and on the February 14 edition of AEW Dynamite, it was confirmed that Ospreay will indeed be wrestling on the show.
During a segment on Dynamite, Don Callis spoke of how no one was willing to step up and challenge his ‘Family’, and said that the only option was to let his charges compete against each other, with Callis Family associate Ospreay picked to wrestle Callis’ main client Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution.
Ospreay and Takeshita have only ever shared a ring on one previous occasion, with the pair teaming with former Family member Sammy Guevara to defeat Chris Jericho and The Golden Lovers at AEW WrestleDream in October 2023.
2023 saw Ospreay dubbed by many as the best professional wrestler on the planet, with his forthcoming AEW run highly anticipated by fans. Takeshita on the other hand, has impressed since signing with the promotion full-time and is earmarked to become one of the best of his generation. Safe to say the hype for this match has already begun.
