IMPACT Wrestling are bringing in one of NJPW's top stars.

It was announced in the closing moments of the Emergence special on Sunday night that Will Ospreay will return to IMPACT Wrestling at Bound for Glory, competing in the promotion for the first time in seven years. What exactly Will Ospreay will be doing at the pay-per-view is unknown at this time.

Ospreay previously performed for IMPACT (then known as TNA Wrestling) over a three-day stretch of TV tapings in the United Kingdom in January 2016. Ospreay challenged The Wolves alongside Mark Andrews for the TNA World Tag Team Titles before Ospreay and a range of UK talents challenged Eric Young in a King of the Mountain Match for the namesake title.

Ospreay has cemented himself as one of the top stars in pro wrestling in recent months, having picked up wins over Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada. The Aerial Assassin defeated Chris Jericho in one of the headline matches at AEW All In on Sunday night. Ospreay is also the reigning IWGP United Kingdom Champion.

IMPACT Bound for Glory will air from Chicago's Cicero Stadium on Saturday, October 21.
