W. Morrissey is having a hell of a year. Clean, healthy, and in the best the shape of his life, the former Big Cass is now making waves in IMPACT Wrestling, battling the likes of Willie Mack and former IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann.

Now in an interview with That 90s Wrestling podcast, Morrissey has given his thoughts on wrestling in Japan:

“100 percent. I can’t even go into detail on that. The answer should just be in blinding, big, bold letters and numbers. One hundred percent. That’s the answer to that question. Yes.”

Japanese promotions traditionally love massive gaijin wrestlers, so Morrissey certainly fits the bill, and with IMPACT and New Japan enjoying a working relationship and talent exchange at the moment, then Morrissey making his way to NJPW is certainly on the table.

Morrissey was also asked if there was scope for a reunion with nZo (fka Enzo Amore) in IMPACT, but Morrissey insisted he is focusing on his solo career right now:

“I have no idea. I don’t know where he’s at. He’s got music he’s focused on, he’s got wrestling, acting. There’s a lot of things in entertainment that he has his eye on so, I don’t know what he’s 100 percent focused on right now but right now in IMPACT, I’m here as a singles and I’m looking at making a name for myself on my own.”
