A planned biopic on Vince McMahon was scrapped after the WWE Executive Chairman "killed" the movie, according to the film's directors.

It emerged back in 2017 that John Requa and Glenn Ficarra would be directing the 'Pandemonium' biopic on McMahon and it was rumoured that Bradley Cooper would play the longtime head of WWE. Nothing has been heard about the movie for some time, however, and Requa and Ficarra revealed to /Film the project was dead after "Vince killed it." The movie would have been made with the approval of WWE studios.

"We have never in our career had the studio, we had an actor, everybody was just like, 'Let's make this movie,' and Vince said, 'We're not making it.' So, yeah, we are on a very long list of people who got f***ed over by Vince," John Requa said.

McMahon remains the Executive Chairman of WWE after forcing his way back into the company in January 2023. The 77-year-old previously resigned as CEO and Chairman in July 2022 amidst a sexual misconduct and hush money scandal.

While 'Pandemonium' may have been scrapped, projects on McMahon's life are still in the works, including a docuseries from Netflix.
