Vince McMahon would reportedly be open to listening to Scott Steiner about working in WWE if 'Big Poppa Pump' wanted to discuss a return to the company in some capacity.

The nature Steiner's relationship with WWE has returned to the spotlight in recent weeks after his nephew, Bronson Rechsteiner, debuted on NXT 2.0 under the name Bronn Breaker. The 23-year-old was initially going to be known as Rex Steiner, but WWE reportedly changed the name at the last minute to own the trademark for merchandising reasons.

Speculation followed that the name change was down to animosity between WWE and Steiner, but WrestleNews.co is reporting that the promotion - and Vince McMahon specifically - have no issues with Steiner.

Steiner has, in the past, said he doesn't want to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. The report cites a source who says this is the main reason why an induction hasn't happened.

The source went on to say that McMahon doesn't have an issue with Steiner, particularly when compared to his infamous disagreements with Bruno Sammartino and The Ultimate Warrior, and that the WWE Chairman would be open to a conversation if Steiner wanted to discuss working together.
