With the official takeover of WWE by Endeavor made official on September 12, Vince McMahon is no longer the be-all and end-all when it comes to making decisions and holding power in WWE.

As part of the merger with UFC to form TKO Group, McMahon has taken a position as Executive Chairman of the Board of the organisation, whilst recent reports have suggested that Vince has returned to WWE creative.

A new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shed more light on McMahon’s power in this new world, with it suggested that Endeavor head Ari Emanuel has essentially put Vince in charge of all facets of WWE, with Emanuel himself allegedly saying that if there is a disagreement on the WWE side of the TKO group that he will defer to McMahon.

On the creative front, Triple H is officially the head of creative but Vince McMahon oversees all creative matters and holds the final say. The 78-year-old can change whichever creative plans he so wishes.

As part of the larger TKO Group, Meltzer suggests that McMahon is ‘higher on the food chain’ than UFC head Dana White, despite UFC being 51% of the new company, whilst also pulling in far greater profits than WWE over the past few years.
