Update On Tye Dillinger's WWE Status

Tye Dillinger's last televised WWE match happened on the September 25 episode of SmackDown Live - with The Perfect 10 scoring a DQ victory over Shinsuke Nakamura thanks to an attack from Randy Orton.

At the time, it looked like a frustrated Dillinger was set for a feud with The Viper. However, in reality, the attack was done so Tye could go off and get surgery on an injured hand.

claims that Dillinger is close to an in-ring return - joining the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, The Bludgeon Brothers, Sin Cara and Fandango on the list of injured stars nearing a comeback to the squared circle.

The news of Dillinger's WWE return will come as a bit of a surprise to those who follow the former NXT star on Twitter - as a number of tweets posted over the last little while have hinted at a departure from the company.
