Update On Lars Sullivan's WWE Status
What is going on with The Freak?
Feb 4, 2019
It was reported here, there, and everywhere a few weeks ago that ahead of his scheduled WWE main roster debut, NXT's Lars Sullivan suffered an unfortunate panic attack that prevented him from making an appearance.
Lars was said to be on the verge of receiving a mega push upon arriving on the main roster, with many sources online claiming that he was supposed to be the one to inflict the injury that kept John Cena out of this year's Royal Rumble match.
This would have reportedly built to a big WrestleMania match between the pair.
However, everything has gone quiet on the Lars front in recent weeks. The latest update comes from
Wrestling Observer Radio, with Dave Meltzer saying: “They really wanted him back last Monday and obviously, he was not back so I don’t know what’s going on.
"I don’t anticipate him not being with the company but as each week goes by, the idea of him wrestling John Cena gets slimmer and slimmer. It may even be out the window right now, I don’t know.”
This update comes after a tweet from Sullivan's “social media representative” William Christensen was deleted. The tweet read: “It’s true, he went missing several weeks ago and I was just able to contact him this morning. Lars wants everyone to know he is in a good place, and is sorry to everyone he’s disappointed. Best, WC.”
