Update On Becky Lynch's WWE WrestleMania 36 Opponent

Not too long ago it was reported here, there, and everywhere that WWE were planning to have Becky Lynch take on Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 36 next year.

However, per the latest

, those plans have been scrapped, and even though Becky will be "the top woman on the show" she will not be facing either The Queen nor Ronda Rousey.

Here's what the latest

reported: "Not that this won’t change 25 times in the next year, but the reason they are putting Lynch vs. Flair at Money in the Bank is that they have a different match planned for next year’s Mania for Lynch.

"The only thing we know is that she’s slotted to be the top woman on that show, and her opponent is not scheduled to be either Flair or Rousey at this point.

"If Rousey wants to return for that show, that match isn’t out of the question but it is not the planned match. Originally Lynch vs. Flair had been the lead idea for 2020 leading to this past year’s Mania and was part of the reason for the three-way."
