Trinity Vs. Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo Set For IMPACT Slammiversary 2023

Trinity has hit the ground running in IMPACT Wrestling, and after defeating Savannah Evans in singles competition on the June 1 edition of IMPACT Wrestling TV, the former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion decided she wanted to add more gold to her collection by calling out Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Trinity formally challenged Purrazzo to a title match at Slammiversary 2023 on July 15, to which ‘The Virtuosa’ cordially accepted, holding up the title in Trinity’s face. The pair were then attacked from behind by Savannah Evans, Giselle Shaw, and Jai Vidal, with IMPACT announcing that Trinity & Purrazzo will team to face Evans & Shaw at Against All Odds on June 9.

Upon debuting for IMPACT in April, Trinity made her intentions to become Knockouts Champion very clear,  but her match with Purrazzo at Slammiversary will be her first official shot at the belt. Purrazzo is currently in the midst of her third reign with the title, having defeated Jordynne Grace for the gold at Rebellion on April 16.
