Protests have erupted throughout the United States after George Floyd died in police custody on May 25. Demonstrations are now taking place in at least 140 cities and the national guard has been activated in 21 states.
The protests entered the professional wrestling world yesterday after Jaxson Ryker channelled his gimmick to praise President Trump and was subsequently criticised by his fellow WWE Superstars.
Hulk Hogan's ex-wife Linda Hogan also shared her thoughts on the protests as she tweeted: "watching the looting, it's all afro Americans, not sure how robbing and stealing set the record straight but if they want to be heard they need to be civilized."
The since-deleted tweet quickly drew the ire of All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan, who told Linda she had now joined her former husband on the list of banned people at the young promotion's events.
Khan wrote: "You've now joined your husband in being banned from all AEW shows. Congratulations."
The Vice-Chairman of Fulham F.C. did not say why The Hulkster is banned from AEW events, but his reply to Linda would suggest it has something to do with his past racist outbursts.
