Amidst unhappiness over his contract with All Elite Wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman no-showed the Double Or Nothing Fan Fest on Saturday, May 28 and then had a flight booked out of Las Vegas before he ultimately opted to remain in Sin City.

MJF worked his scheduled Double Or Nothing match against Wardlow on Sunday night, losing to his former employee before he was stretchered away from ringside.

While many were hoping for Tony Khan to address MJF's AEW status, the AEW President refused to comment during the post-Double Or Nothing media scrum, simply saying: "I'm not going to comment on that. I've got a lot of stuff from the pay-per-view that I can comment on, but I'm not going to comment on that."

MJF did speak to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, though, and The Salt Of The Earth noted he showed up to T-Mobile Arena at the last minute and left right after his match with Wardlow. Friedman also admitted he has a lot to think about.

"I have not verified this with anybody backstage yet because people were getting very quiet about this ahead of the show. He said, 'I showed up last-minute, I left right after my match. I've got a lot to think about. I'm going dark again,'" Sean Ross Sapp said during Fightful's post-Double Or Nothing show.

What will happen next between MJF and All Elite Wrestling ultimately remains to be seen.
