Toni Storm Challenges Mina Shirakawa To Match At AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2024

All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are set to collide once more, with Forbidden Door III set for New York on June 30.

The card has started falling in to place for the show, with the stars of AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM expected to clash in a series of dream matches, and AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm is looking for a piece of the action.

During STARDOM’s event at Korakuen hall on June 2, Mina Shirakawa was in-ring when a video played, with Storm noting how Mina has appeared in AEW when shared protégé Mariah May has needed assistance. Storm threw out a challenge for Forbidden Door, noting that whilst any friend of Mariah is a friend of Storm’s, the champ wants to see ‘what kind of woman’ Shirakawa really is.

Mina accepted Toni’s challenge, saying she’d face Toni anywhere and at any time.
