TNA Wrestling’s relaunch on January 13 at Hard to Kill has kickstarted the latest chapter of the storied pro wrestling promotion, with it now revealed that TNA content will air throughout Africa through StarTimes.

Through StarTimes, TNA programming will now be available to over 30 countries in Africa such as Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa and the Ivory Coast amongst others, with TNA content available to over 45million StarTimes users.

Speaking on the deal, TNA President Scott D’Amore said the following:

“Africa has long-boasted a passionate wrestling audience, who have warmly embraced our programming and our athletes. We are proud to partner with StarTimes to bring exclusive TNA content to subscribers throughout the continent, and we hope they will enjoy the exciting plans we have in store for what promises to be one of our biggest years yet!”

As well as TNA’s weekly show IMPACT, the deal will also see TNA+ specials and TNA pay per view events available to viewers across Africa. The deal is a coup for TNA, with StarTimes serving as Africa’s leading digital TV operator, vowing "to ensure that every African family can access, afford, watch and share the beauty of digital TV.”
