TNA Legends Returning For IMPACT 1000

IMPACT are set to hold the 1000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling TV in September, with the landmark edition of the long-running show set to be taped on September 9 in White Plains, New York.

Ahead of such a celebration, IMPACT have revealed the first names from the glory days of TNA/GFW/IMPACT that are set to feature on the anniversary edition, with IMPACT Hall of Famer Awesome Kong, and The Beautiful People Angelina Love and Velvet Sky set to make their presence felt on the show.

No other names have been outwardly rumoured or suggested for the event, and it remains to be seen if AEW and WWE will allow former TNA/IMPACT wrestlers in their charge to make appearances, whether in person or via video. The likes of Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, and Christian Cage are part of AEW, whilst LA Knight, AJ Styles, Abyss, and Booker T are under the WWE umbrella.

The first ever episode of TNA IMPACT aired on June 4, 2004, with the company previously running a weekly PPV model in order to broadcast its content.
