The New Day Hit Back At WWE Fan Criticism Of Tag Team Title Win

The New Day have a message for WWE fans who are unhappy at their latest Raw Tag Team Championship victory: "Don't be mad at us".
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston claimed their 11th WWE Tag Team Titles on Raw, defeating Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Business to reclaim the Championships that they lost at TLC 2020 in December.
Speaking backstage after RAW, Kingston said WWE fans who were tired of seeing the New Day as tag team champions needed channel their frustration at the other tag teams who have failed to keep up with them.
Kingston, in a WWE Network Exclusive, said: "We told a lot of people what was going to happen,” Kingston said. “A lot of people are upset right now… ‘Oh, we’re tired of seeing New Day as champions.’ Don’t be mad at us, be mad at Shelton and Cedric for not being able to keep the championships.
“Be mad at all your favourite tag teams for not being able to step up against your boys. Don’t be mad at us, we’re just doing our jobs. All we do is go out and entertain and win championships. That’s it. Don’t be mad at us. Be mad at your favourites.”
