The Briscoes To Face FTR At ROH Supercard Of Honor

The dream match has been booked.

New Ring Of Honor owner and AEW President Tony Khan announced on Friday that ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes will defend their title against FTR at Supercard Of Honor on Friday, April 1.

There were reportedly no imminent plans for the match to take place as of a month ago but Tony Khan's purchase of ROH has seemingly changed things, with the match now set to take place in just a couple of weeks.

Both The Briscoes and FTR have wanted to face each other for some time and the tag teams have cut numerous promos on one another in the last several months. They also had a pull-apart brawl at Final Battle in December of 2021 after The Briscoes won the ROH World Tag Team Title for the 12th time.

Supercard Of Honor will take place on Friday, April 1 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. Already booked for the show is an Undisputed ROH World Championship match between ROH Original World Champion Jonathan Gresham and ROH World Champion Bandido. Alex Zayne will also take on Swerve Strickland, while Joe Hendry and Ninja Mack will be in action too.
