Tammy Sytch Pleads Not Guilty To DUI Manslaughter Charge

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch officially pleaded 'not guilty' to several charges stemming from the fatal crash she was involved in back in March.

Sytch yesterday pleaded not guilty to one count of DUI causing death (DUI manslaughter, which is a third-degree felony), one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver's license (a felony in the third degree), four counts of DUI causing an injury to a person and three counts of DUI causing damage to property.

Sytch was arrested several weeks back and was remanded to jail after her bail was revoked, since it was successfully argued that she would be a potential risk to the public given her extensive history when it comes to drink driving offences.

She did not speak during the hearing.

Her boyfriend, James Pente, did speak with the Daytona Beach News-Journal after the hearing and claimed that Sytch "feels absolutely terrible. I can't emphasise it more. She just feels bad in general. Everybody's life's ruined".

Pente is currently being sued by the family of Julian Lasseter, the 75-year-old who died from injuries sustained when Sytch's car collided with his as he was stopped at a red light in Ormond Beach, Florida, on March 25.

He noted to the newspaper that he has apologised to the family.

Sytch's test results later revealed that her blood-alcohol was over three-and-a-half times the legal limit.
