WWE Hall of Famer Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch has been arrested on weapons and terroristic threats charges.
Court records indicate that Sytch was arrested in Keansburg, New Jersey and taken into custody at the Monmouth County jail on January 13, per a report from TMZ Sports.
Specific details on the incidents that led to Sytch’s arrest haven’t been made public, but records state she was held on two charges for illegally possessing a weapon (not believed to be a firearm) and one charge of making terroristic threats. If convicted, Sytch could face 11 years in prison.
The NJ statute reads: "A person is guilty of a crime of the third degree if he threatens to commit any crime of violence with the purpose to terrorise another or to cause evacuation of a building, place of assembly, or facility of public transportation, or otherwise to cause serious public inconvenience, or in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience."
Sytch has had numerous run ins with the law over the past decade, with Sytch last being released from prison in June 2021.
