The IMPACT World Title match between Josh Alexander and Bully Ray at Hard To Kill 2023 won't just be a straight singles match.

It was announced on the December 22 edition of IMPACT Wrestling that the IMPACT World Title will be defended in a Full Metal Mayhem Match. The stipulation was made official for Hard To Kill after Josh Alexander was attacked by Bully Ray, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler. This prompted The Walking Weapon to ask Scott D'Amore to alter the Hard To Kill main event as he no longer wants to play by the rules.

Bully Ray returned to IMPACT at October's Bound For Glory pay-per-view and he went straight to the top of the card, winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion then called his shot at Over Drive, making the main event of Hard To Kill official before he attacked Alexander in front of his wife.

Two new title matches have also been made official for Hard To Kill. The Motor City Machine Guns will defend the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships against Heath & Rhino, The Major Players, and Chris Bey & Ace Austin in a Four-Way Elimination Match. Trey Miguel will also put the X-Division Title on the line against Black Taurus.

Hard To Kill will air on pay-per-view on Friday, January 13. Check out the updated lineup below:

  • Josh Alexander (c) vs. Bully Ray - Full Metal Mayhem Match for the IMPACT World Championship
